Tests confirmed 14,539 new COVID-19 infection cases in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, the highest figure since mid-March and nearly 50 percent more than a week ago, the public Czech Television (CT) reported today, referring to Health Ministry spokesman Daniel Koppl. Last time, the daily figure was higher than the Tuesday score on March 12, 2021. The Tuesday figure belongs to 20 highest daily numbers since the epidemic outbreak in Czechia in March.
