The Czech Republic confirmed 11,984 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, which has been the highest daily rise since the March epidemic outbreak, according to the latest data the Health Ministry released on its website today. There are more than 133,000 active cases of the infection in the country. At present, over 4,000 coronavirus patients are hospitalised, including 634 in serious condition. The death toll is 1,619.
