Czechia sees over 14,000 new COVID cases on Wednesday's holiday

Czechia had 14,119 new confirmed COVID cases on Wednesday that was a bank holiday, roughly 8,000 fewer than on Tuesday which saw record high figures, but more than a week ago and more than on Monday, too, the latest data on the Health Ministry website showed today. Hospitals treat 4,440 coronavirus patients, about 700 more than a week ago.
