March 31st, 2021
Czechia reported 8,568 new confirmed COVID cases on Tuesday, 2,400 fewer than a week ago and the first daily figure below 10,000 since the beginning of February, the Health Ministry's data show this morning. The epidemic has been slowing down, but Czech hospitals are still very busy. This morning, nearly one quarter of standard beds equipped with oxygen support was available. So far, 26,421 people have died with the COVID-19 infection in the Czech Republic since the epidemic outbreak last March.
