Czechia sees 4,264 new COVID cases, over 1,000 hospitalisations

Czechia saw 4,264 new COVID cases on Monday, the highest figure since April, and 1,055 people, including 156 in a serious condition, are hospitalised with the coronavirus infection, while their number exceeded 1,000 last time in May, the Health Ministry's data showed today. As against last Monday, the daily figure from this week is two-thirds higher. The incidence rate grew by 16 on Monday to today's 217 new COVID cases per 100,000 population in the past seven days.
