Czechia sees 2,415 new COVID cases on Sunday, fewer than week ago

February 8th, 2021

Czechia saw 2,415 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 157 fewer than a week ago, which is a decrease after the recent rising trend, but fewer samples are always tested at weekends, and Sunday's number of tests was even lower than last Sunday, the Health Ministry's data have shown. The number of those hospitalised with COVID dropped by 30 day-on-day to 5,473 on Sunday. Out of them, 986 were in serious condition, which is 11 fewer than on Saturday.
