Czechia not to withdraw soldiers from Iraq after attacks - PM

January 8th, 2020

The Czech Republic is not considering a withdrawal of its soldiers from Iraq and all of them remain unhurt and safe at allied military bases, Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) said today. Babis also confirmed the previous statements by the General Staff and the Defence Ministry that all Czech soldiers remain unhurt and safe at allied military bases after the recent Iranian attacks on US and coalition forces in Iraq.
