The Czech Republic has not informed Russia yet about the detention of Russian citizen Alexandr Franchetti, known for his involvement in the Crimean Spring events linked to the annexation of Ukraine's Crimea by Russia, the TASS agency cited Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov today. Russian agency RIA Novosti cited the Crimean authorities' representative Alexander Molokhov and wrote on Sunday that the Czech authorities detained Franchetti at the Prague airport on Sunday. "Based on an international arrest warrant, issued by Ukraine, a citizen of the Russian Federation was arrested at the airport," Czech police spokesman Ondrej Moravcik told CTK on Sunday, but would not elaborate.
