Czechia has more than two dozen possible candidates for president

The names of more than two dozen possible candidates can be heard in the public space one year before the direct election of Czech president and betting offices consider former prime minister Andrej Babis (ANO) and former top official of NATO and the Czech army, General Petr Pavel, the favourites. Some of the candidates already launched their presidential campaign, are gathering signatures supporting their candidature or have their election website, while others have not yet declared whether they will be running for president.
