Czechia confirmed 9,446 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, which is about 200 fewer than a week ago and about 800 fewer than on Tuesday, but still the third highest daily rise in the last three weeks, the data that the Health Ministry released on its website this morning show. In Czech hospitals, 5,817 patients with coronavirus are treated, including 1,057 in serious condition. The total death toll has been 17,772 in the country up to Wednesday.
