Czechia grants visas to 1,133 refugees from Ukraine on Wednesday

August 4th, 2022

The Czech Republic has so far granted temporary protection visas to 406,312 Ukrainian refugees since the war in Ukraine started in February, with 1,133 visas issued on Wednesday alone, a similar figure as a week ago, the Interior Ministry wrote on Twitter today. However, there are fewer Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic now as some return to Ukraine or leave for other countries.
