May 19th, 2022

The Czech Republic has so far granted 348,177 temporary protection visas to Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the war since its start on February 24, including 1,407 on Wednesday, 272 fewer than a week ago, the Interior Ministry tweeted today. Roughly 200,000 refugees from Ukraine are staying in the Czech Republic now, while part of them will return to their home country, Interior Minister Vit Rakusan said on Sunday.
