Czech waters receding after weekend heavy rains

June 22nd, 2020

The situation on Czech rivers is calming down after the weekend heavy rains and the third, highest flood emergency is only valid in two places, on the Chrudimka and Novohradka rivers in eastern Bohemia on Monday. Experts from the Czech Meteorological Institute (HMU) are warning that rains may continue in the east of the Czech Republic, especially in the Beskid Mountains.
