Czech town has new memorial to Armenian genocide victims

September 15th, 2021

Kralupy nad Vltavou has a new memorial to the Armenian genocide victims, initiated by Telman Nersisyan, an Armenian native living in Kralupy, and its unveiling took place in the presence of Cardinal Dominik Duka and Armenian ambassador Ashot Hovakimiyan today. Armenian genocide was the killing out of about 1.5 million Armenians by the Turks in the Ottoman Empire from 1915 to 1918.
