Czech top court dismisses Salm's appeal over family heritage

May 3rd, 2021

The Czech Constitutional Court (US) dismissed on Monday the appeal lodged by Marie Salm Reifferscheidt-Raitz, who strives for formed Salm family heritage in south Moravia to be restituted, US spokeswoman Miroslava Cihalikova Sedlackova told CTK. Reifferscheidt-Raitz wanted the court to acknowledge that her father Hugo Salm kept his Czechoslovak citizenship after World War Two. Without the citizenship, the family would not be eligible for the restitution.
