Czech theologian Halik receives German decoration at embassy

Czech Roman Catholic priest and theologian Tomas Halik received the 1st class Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany at its embassy in Prague today, German ambassador Christoph Israng has tweeted. Halik was awarded for his activities in support of a just society, his contribution to Czech-German conciliation and the dialogue between nations and religions.
