Czech Television targeted by cyber attack amid Olympic Games

The national broadcaster Czech Television (CT) has been facing another cyber attack since early in the morning, CT said on Twitter, adding that the attack has caused problems during the live broadcast of the Czech-Swiss ice hockey match at the Beijing Olympics. Due to the attack, CT had to shift the broadcast to its emergency webpage and it will broadcast a part of the match from a recording. "Right now, CT is facing a truly massive cyber attack ... We recommend switching on sports events a few minutes before their start when the network is less burdened," CT said on its Twitter account.
