The Czech state has enough protective equipment against Covid-19, including 86 million face masks, 17 million FFP2 respirators and 45 million pairs of gloves, Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlicek told the Senate on Thursday when informing it how the cabinet has followed its recommendations in this respect. Each ministry has enough protective equipment stock for two months. In addition, the State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) has stock of 72 million face masks and is going to receive another 13.7 million of them soon, Havlicek said. The number of FFP2s will reach 17 million as soon as another two million of them reach the SSHR based on its latest order.
