May 27th, 2022
Representatives of the Czech, Slovak and British government marked today the 80th anniversary of the attack against Nazi Deputy Reichsprotector Reinhard Heydrich and appreciated heroism of the Czechoslovak pilots from the Anthropoid group, but they reminded of the current war in Ukraine, too. Paratroopers Jan Kubis and Jozef Gabcik, from the Anthropoid group, who underwent a training in Scotland, mortally wounded Heydrich in Prague-Liben neighbourhood on May 27, 1942.
