Czech senators challenge pandemic bill over limited COVID compensations

A group of Czech senators has challenged the pandemic law at the Constitutional Court (US) over the way it was passed and because it does not enable to compensate the total damage small tradespeople have suffered due to anti-COVID restrictions, the senators told media today. The complainants are senators from the opposition Mayors and Independents (STAN), Pirates and Civic Democrats (ODS). The law's wording was an expedient step on the part of the government of ANO and Social Democrats (CSSD), they said.
