Czech Senate opposes bill to lower pay for plurality of offices

The Senate, the upper house of Czech parliament, on Friday rejected the bill to cut the remuneration for paid posts of regional and municipal representatives who are at the same time parliament or government members to two-fifths. The Chamber of Deputies, the lower house, passed this amendment against plurality of offices in mid-March.
