Czech scientists start examining geothermal energy possible use

Czech scientists started lowering a seismometer in a 1.5 km deep drill hole and the sensor will measure ground motions in the underground in order to examine possible use of geothermal energy, Litomerice town hall spokeswoman Michaela Bubenickova has said. Bubenickova said in a written statement that ground heat might also be used for municipal heating in future.
