Czech researchers to make another Arctic expedition to Svalbard

Czech researchers of the Institute of Rock Structure and Mechanics are set to leave for their fourth Arctic expedition to Svalbard in July, the Czech Sciences Academy said on Wednesday. Along with their Polish colleagues, the Czechs will resume research work on current geodynamic phenomena and processes in the southwestern area of the Norwegian Svalbard archipelago. The Czech researchers have been visiting Svalbard since 2009.
