The Czech Republic will keep heading the project of joint ammunition purchases within the Visegrad Group comprising the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia even after Poland assumes its presidency, Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar said at a press briefing on Wednesday. Metnar said he believes that the project may be launched and all contracts signed before the end of 2020. The purchases are to be made through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). Wednesday's meeting of V4 prime ministers officially ended the Czech presidency of the grouping.
