Czech Republic sees record high COVID spread on weekend day

There were another 23,914 coronavirus cases in the Czech Republic on Sunday, the biggest number on a weekend day since the epidemic outbreak, and the total number of the infected has crossed three million, according to the data released by the Health Ministry this morning. On Sunday, there were twice as many newly infected than a week ago. So far, there have been almost 2.7 million recoveries and 37,209 deaths.
