The Czech Republic saw 15,729 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, a record daily increase since the epidemic outbreak in March, which surpassed the previous October 27 record by 65 and exceeded the 15,000 limit for the third time, data from the Health Ministry shows. On Wednesday, the number of new cases was 2,751 higher than one week ago, which, however, was a national holiday with fewer samples tested. Last week, the infection rate slowed down, but the daily increases have been rising again since Monday.
