Czech Republic reports 37,662 new Covid cases on Thursday

Laboratories confirmed 37,662 new Covid cases in the Czech Republic on Thursday, 2,857 more than a week ago and hospitals are treating 2,998 patients with the infection, almost 800 more than last Thursday, but the number of those in a serious condition is not on the rise, data from the health ministry show. There were 6,550 further cases of reinfections, while last Thursday, laboratories reported a record high number of 16,202 cases suspected of recurrent infection.
