Czech Republic reports record daily Covid cases

The Czech Republic saw a record high number of new confirmed coronavirus cases with 30,350 infections on Monday, though the number of Covid hospitalisations is continuing to decline, data from the health ministry show. Hospitals are treating 1,695 patients with Covid-19, down 7 percent from a week ago, while the number of those in a serious condition decreased by almost one-third to 207.
