The Czech Republic registered 804 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 135 more than a week ago and the reproduction number R, or the average number of those infected by one Covid-positive person, dropped from Monday's 1.36 to 1.31 today, data from the health ministry show. The number of hospitalisations increased by 28 to 255 week-on-week. Of the patients in hospital, some 40 were in a serious condition, which is a number similar to last Monday's.
