Czech Republic registers 8,167 new Covid cases on Monday

The Czech Republic registered 8,167 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 2,500 less than a week ago, and its hospitals were treating 8,545 coronavirus patients, including 1,953 in a serious condition, slightly more than on Sunday, according to data released by the Health Ministry. The total Covid-19 death toll is 25,055 in the country. More than half of the people (13,115) died this year and the last 1,000 in the past seven days. The Czech Republic had 4,777 Covid victims in January and 4,078 in February. In March, 4,260 patients with Covid-19 have died so far.
