The Czech Republic registered another 25,864 confirmed Covid cases on Tuesday, the highest number in a day since the start of the epidemic, according to data from the health ministry. Hospitals are treating 5,652 Covid patients, 799 of whom are in a serious condition. The weekly incidence rate is also at a record high. In the past seven days, 1,061 cases of the infection per 100,000 inhabitants were detected. In the past eight days, the maximum daily numbers of the infected were reached three times. First on November 19, when there were another 22,500 new infections, for the second time on November 19, with another almost 23,000 cases and for the third time this Tuesday.
