Czech Republic logs biggest Monday rise in Covid cases

The Czech Republic registered 14,480 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday, the biggest rise on that weekday, and the Covid incidence rate rose to 1,027 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, 290 more than a week ago, according to data released by the health ministry. The worst epidemic situation is still in Moravia and Silesia. In the Olomouc Region, there were 1,422 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants recorded in the past week, and in the Zlin Region there were 1,299.
