Czech Republic logs smallest weekday Covid case rise since mid-July

The Czech Republic registered 134 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, almost 50 percent less than a week ago and the lowest daily rise on a work day since July 17, 2020 and there were under ten infected per 100,000 population in the past week, according to data released by the health ministry. The Covid incidence rate has been the lowest since mid-July, 2020. On Wednesday, 113,301 people were vaccinated against Covid-19, which was a similar number as a week ago. The daily number of vaccinations has been over 100,000 since May 26. Since the beginning of the Czech Republic's vaccination drive, medical professionals have administered roughly 6.9 million doses.
