The Czech Republic issued temporary protection visas to 1,652 Ukrainians on Tuesday, 600 more than a week ago, and the total number of the visas granted to those who have fled from the Russian aggression against Ukraine since February 24 has reached 375,475, according to data released by the interior ministry. Czech authorities estimate that about 280,000-300,000 Ukrainian refugees are staying in the country. The exact number of refugees in the Czech Republic cannot be ascertained because some have left for other countries or returned to their homeland.
