Czech Republic issues 1,053 emergency visas to Ukrainians on Tuesday

The Czech Republic issued 1,053 temporary protection visas to Ukrainian refugees fleeing from the war on Tuesday, almost the same as a week ago (1,049), their number totalling 367,543 since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24, the Interior Ministry has said on Twitter. Roughly 300,000 refugees are staying in the Czech Republic, Interior Minister Vit Rakusan has said. So far, 286,936 refugees from Ukraine have registered with the Czech immigration police, 2,237 on Tuesday alone.
