The number of Czech health-care workers who have tested positive for Covid-19 reached 14,181 on Tuesday, which is about five time more than a month ago, Ladislav Dusek, the head of the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (UZIS) said, adding that the infected included 2,468 doctors and 6,670 nurses. Dusek has presented the data to the lower house health-care committee. The UZIS statistics show that there are some 50,000 doctors and 80,000 nurses in the Czech Republic.
