Czech Republic daily Covid caseload down, vaccinations rise on Monday

The Czech Republic registered 2,216 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, 360 less than week ago, and 66,507 vaccine doses were administered, an increase of 11,000 week-on-week, data on the Health Ministry's website show. In the 10.7-million Czech Republic, over 1.6 million people have been diagnosed with coronavirus since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Of them, 95 percent have recovered and 29,421 have died. The death toll has fallen recently, standing below 100 per day since April 10.
