The Covid reproduction number R dropped to 1.16 from 1.19 in the Czech Republic on Monday after being on the rise for six days and the PES risk-assessment index stands at 75 points, according to data released by the Health Ministry. Out of the PES criteria, the number of people whose Covid infection has been detected in hospital improved, too. In contrast, the average number of the new cases per 100,000 people in the past 14 days has been progressively rising. This is also the case for the two-week average number of the infected among the elderly per 100,000 people.
