Czech Republic Covid risk score rises to 67 points from 62

November 23rd, 2020

The Covid-19 risk index in the Czech Republic has increased to 67 points, which corresponds to the fourth level of the anti-epidemiological system (PES), under which the measures can change, after being at 62 for four days in a row, data released by the Health Ministry show. Laboratories registered 1,509 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, which is the lowest figure since September 28 and about 400 less than last Sunday. Since the epidemic outbreak in the country in March, more than 492,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19, four fifths of whom have recovered and 7,196 have died. The number of active infections stands around 87,000. Most of them have a mild course of the disease.
