Czech Republic coronavirus cases nearing 3,000

The number of novel coronavirus cases in the Czech Republic rose to 2,829 on Sunday when 160 new cases were confirmed, the smallest rise in new infections over the past six days, the Health Ministry said just after midnight. There have been 16 deaths and 11 recoveries from the disease. The number of deaths rose by five on Sunday. The Health Ministry has not yet released the number of tests conducted on Sunday. The latest data, 40,700 tests, is from Sunday morning.
