Czech Republic coronavirus cases rise to 41

March 10th, 2020

A Japanese man living in the Moravian city of Olomouc has been identified as the 41st coronavirus case in the Czech Republic, Olomouc Region Governor Ladislav Oklestek (ANO) said on Tuesday. Health Minister Adam Vojtech (ANO) said on Twitter that the man had recently visited Britain and the German city of Munich. The man is at the isolation ward in the hospital in Prostejov, central Moravia. His disease is not serious at the moment. Most of the Covid-19 cases confirmed in the Czech Republic are related to Italy, several others visited Boston. The source of infection is as yet unknown in the case of a man who is from Prague and works as a taxi driver.
