Czech Republic 12th most Covid-affected EU country

The Czech Republic is the 12th most Covid-afflicted country in the European Union, with 1,689 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days now, compared to its 11th position a week ago, data released by the Our World in Data project show. Denmark remains the hardest-hit EU country with 5,158 infections per 100,000 people in seven days (5,240 a week ago), followed by the Netherlands with 4,841 cases (3,241 a week ago) and Estonia with 3,568 cases (3,351 a week ago).
