Czech Rep to access new supercomputer

The Czech Republic will be one of ten European countries that will have access to LUMI, one of the world's top supercomputers that is to start operating in Kajaani, Finland in mid-2021, the Education Ministry said in a press release on Monday. Czechia paid 1.6 million euros for the access to LUMI, which is to bring new research and trade opportunities for European countries, the ministry said.
