Nearly 74,000 people were in quarantine in the Czech Republic in the last six months and nearly half of them, 36,000, were sent to quarantine in March when the coronavirus outbreak started in the country, according to the data of the Labour and Social Affairs Ministry. The lowest number of people, 3,600, had to be in quarantine in June. In August, doctors sent about 10,000 people to quarantine to prevent the infection from spreading.
