Czech president supports compensation for municipalities near Vrbetice

President Milos Zeman on Tuesday met mayors of the municipalities in the region of the Vrbetice depot, in south Moravia, where two blasts occurred in 2014, and supported compensation for them, his office said in a statement. He backed the MPs' bill stipulating a compensation of roughly 660 million crowns in total for restrictions after the explosions of the two ammunition dumps to go to the Zlin Region, the afflicted municipalities and their inhabitants.
