Czech president supports lower house's criticism of Turkish attack in Syria

Czech President Milos Zeman supported the lower house's recent resolution condemning Turkey's invasion of Kurdish-inhabited north Syria as a breach of international law at the close of his speech in the Chamber of Deputies today that mainly focused on the government's 2020 budget bill. "I fully agree with the [Czech] Chamber of Deputies' position on the Kurdish nation's struggle against the Turkish occupation," Zeman said without elaborating.
