The Czech Customs Authority will be empowered to seize property that is under international sanctions and also vehicles transferring such property, and a breach of international sanctions would be a crime, based on a bill amendment President Milos Zeman signed into law on Tuesday. According to the law posted on the Presidential Office website it extends the possibilities of imposing sanctions, enhances some offices' powers in this connection and introduces fees for the management of the seized property.
