Czech president, other politicians commemorate WWII end

Czech President Milos Zeman and other top politicians laid wreaths at the National Memorial in Prague-Vitkov to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the end of World War II on Wednesday. Witnesses of the WWII events and war veterans took part in the ceremony as well. Similar commemorations were also held at other places in the capital and in other Czech towns during the day.
