Czech president appoints new judges, university rector, general

Czech President Milos Zeman on Wednesday appeared at a public ceremony for the first time since the end of June when he appointed new judges and court chairpersons, named the new Defence University rector and promoted Colonel Pavel Lipka to general at Prague Castle, the presidential seat.
