Czech president's spokesman criticises Senate head's trip to Taiwan

President Milos Zeman's spokesman Jiri criticised Senate chairman Milos Vystrcil's planned trip to Taiwan, comparing it to a visit to the separatist Donetsk People's Republic in Eastern Ukraine, while the Senate deputy head and other senators supported the plan. Vystrcil on Tuesday announced his plan to visit Taiwan, despite a Chinese warning, between August 30 and September 5 to boost Czech-Taiwanese business cooperation.
